The DCL1200R is an RMS value response type AC clamp meter/digital multimeter that is intended for measurements within the IEC61010-2-032 CAT.III 600V range. It is appropriate for measuring the current and voltage of low-voltage electrical equipment, circuitry, and power supply facilities.

With an accuracy of 1.7%, this clamp-meter can measure AC current up to 1200 Amperes.It has a backlit, 6000-count display. In addition to measuring AC/DC voltages, frequency up to 30 kHz, and capacitance, the tool is also a digital multimeter with an auto resistance feature that enables users to automatically measure resistances without having to adjust the range.
