RD700 Digital Multimeter

The Sanwa RD700 is a digital multimeter with a 4000 count and 0.3% accuracy.

The RD700 is intended for small communications devices, measurements in home appliances, and low-voltage circuits. There are two models of this device: the RD701 and the RD700. The RD700 is not equipped with the AC True RMS capability for measuring AC sine waves, which is the only distinction between the two.

The RD700 features an accuracy of 0.3% and a big format display with 4000 counts. With the use of an optional K-type thermocouple sensor (K-250PC), it can detect fundamental electrical characteristics such as voltage, current, resistance, frequency, capacitance, and temperature (up to 300 °C). Users can utilize the compatible current clamp sensor with the device because it has an ADP function for the current sensor.

This device has an auto-power-off mode that turns the device off after 30 minutes (cancellable). It also features an alarm for wrong probe insertion in the current terminal. The meter has a fuse of 20 kA and has a protective holster with a wall hanger/lead holder and a tilting stand.
